Tender description

The UK MOD intends to amend the LCST contract, that it awarded to Leidos Europe Ltd in April 2015, to increase the scale of the procurement services role as indicated in the Contract Notice (CN) (2013/S 025-038755) published on 5/2/13. Section II.2.2 of the CN stated that the UK MOD might increase the scale of Leidos' procurement services (PS) role, covering circa (c.) 55K additional Nato Stock Numbers (NSNs) of raw materials & consumables. Items UK MOD proposes to add to Leidos' PS role in LCST, that are of a similar type to those already being procured and as such are considered to fall in the scope of the original CN, are the following and amount to c. 55K NSNs: Screws,Bolts,Studs,Nuts,Washers,Nails,Pins,Springs,Rivets,Fasteners,Packers,Seals Gaskets,O-Rings,Spacers and Shims;Electronic Components;Tools;General Hardware;Lighting and Lamps;Chain and Wire Rope;Compressors,Pumps,Centrifugals and Air Purifiers;Valves;Bearings;Motors,Generators and Solar;Manual Handling Equip UK MOD further proposes to add to LCST, also in respect of the PS undertaken by Leidos: C. 2K NSNs of commodities which are already in the CPVs cited in the original CN, i.e. 33000000 medical equips, pharma and personal care products,18000000 clothing, footwear, luggage articles and accessories; 15000000 food, beverages, obacco and related products; 24951100 lubes; C. 6K NSNs of commodities, where the majority of the category, in which these NSNs sit,is already in LCST.
