Tender description

NEPO seeks to procure a framework for the supply of library books, consisting of adult fiction and non-fiction, teenage, young adult and children's fiction and non-fiction, large print books, talking and e-books, periodicals, e-resources and DVDs. The physical stock supplied is required to be shelf ready with traditional requirements, such as date, spine and category labels, sleeves and wallets etc; along with programmed RFID tags. As well as physical supply, associated operational and administrative activities should also be supported including, at a minimum: — Stock Selection. — Bibliographic Services. — Integration with library management systems. NEPO is a Central Purchasing Body as defined in the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR15). It is anticipated the Framework Contract will be made available for use by all NEPO Members and NEPO Associate Members within the North East Region, a list of member organisations is available at www.nepoportal.org. An indication of requirements is provided at II.1.4. Further information will be provided within tender documentation. The purpose of the PIN is to; give advance notice of procurement, gauge market interest and identify suppliers wishing to participate in the market engagement appointments available July and August 2017 via Eventbrite links provided at II.2.14. Details of Lots will be confirmed within the Contract Notice. NEPO intends to make the resulting agreement available for use by all Contracting Authorities throughout the North East Region.
