MARKET SCOPING RESEARCH FOR THE FINANCIAL & PROFESSIONAL SERVICE TRAINING INDUSTRY IN CHINA

The UK Government is committed to an ambitious programme to significantly increase UK exports and foreign direct investment by 2020. DIT is leading on work to maximise UK commercial benefits in China. Although pressure continues to increase on education and training budgets around the globe, the financial and professional service sector is continuing to increase its investment in training and learning. China is one of the key markets for DIT, especially in the Education and Training industry. The China Education team in DIT therefore wish to have a better understanding of the opportunities for UK businesses in the Chinese market in this sector. We have already worked closely with key UK training providers to introduce them to the China market, including brining a delegation of 20 companies to Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou in March 2016. We now wish to have a more detailed understanding of the key market players, policy framework, decision makers and regulators in China.
