Tender description

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (‘the Authority’) wishes to offer opportunities for provision of coffee shop, restaurant and retail trade services at the main entrance adjacent to the Princess Alexandra Hospital's outpatient department. The supplier(s) will prepare and provide meals and refreshments for hospital staff, and visitors. It is envisaged that this concession will be operated by concessionaire holding rights to reputable high street brand (for example Costa, Starbucks or WH Smith or M&S). It is envisaged that the coffee shop, food or retail facility will operate 7 days per week providing lunch time meals and offering choices of meals. The Restaurant will also provide a range of snack items as well as a selection of beverages. The duration of the Contract will be for 10 years (‘initial period’) with an option to extend for an additional one year (‘extension period’), subject to terms of contract and satisfactory performance.
