Tender description

North of England Commissioning is working for and on behalf of NHS England (North) Yorkshire and the Humber to procure healthcare provision for young male offenders and adult male prisoners in the Doncaster Prisons Cluster in South Yorkshire. The scope of the service provision model comprises the populations of the four prison establishments in the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire: — HMP and YOI Doncaster, — HMP Lindholme, — HMP and YOI Moorland, — HMP Hatfield and The Lakes. The contract term will be for 6 years from 1.9.2017 with an option to extend for an additional period of 3 years at the discretion of the Contracting Authority and subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance. The basic principles of the Open Procurement route will be followed in accordance with The Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
