London Borough of Brent is seeking to engage with and obtain the views of providers of substance misuse. This is a pre-procurement exercise to help develop thinking on the way in which such services might be provided in London Borough of Brent in the future. The information we receive will help the commissioners make decisions about the best approaches to take in commissioning substance misuse for Brent Council. From 1st April 2015, Brent had legal duty to commission the substance misuse services through the following contracts: Clinical prescribing currently provided by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust, Outreach and engagement currently provided by Change Grow Live (CGL). Criminal justice currently provided by Westminster Drugs Project (WDP). Young people services currently provided by Addaction. Structured day programme and care planned counselling currently provided by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust. Treatment and recovery services currently provided by Addaction. It is our intention to combine these services into a single integrated community based substance misuse service. Brent Council are seeking the market's views on the future structure and provision of substance misuse services, the capacity of the market to supply these services and the level of interest in this proposed procurement activity.
