Tender description

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council wishes to commission consultants to carry out a scoping and feasibility study to assess the potential for accommodating a new settlement within the borough. Depending on the outcome of initial feasibility work the study may also include assessment of potential locations promoted by developers and landowners. It is envisaged that the findings of this study, together with other evidence, will assist the Council in drawing up a strategic development strategy for the borough as part of the preparation of a new local plan. There may be potential for follow on work in relation to the various stages of plan preparation. The methodology for the assessments must be robust and able to withstand scrutiny at the Local Plan examination held in due course. Keywords: Consultancy, Study, Settlement
