Tender description

The Council will be hosting The Tall Ships Races Sunderland 2018 for which Hospitality Services in the form of Deck Events on board the Tall Ships will be a requirement. Hospitality events offer organisations and individuals the opportunity to board a Tall Ship and hold or attend an Deck Event on the deck of a Tall Ship. An experienced Hospitality Services Provider with the capacity, capability and contacts to market, sell and deliver the maximum number of high quality events is required. Whilst the Service requirement has been advertised in the OJEU, the placement of this advertisement or any other indication shall not be taken to mean that the Council intends to hold themselves bound by any of the Regulations except those applicable to the Concession Contract Regulations for contracts below threshold services concession. The provision of Hospitality Services on Board The Tall Ships for The Tall Ships Races Sunderland 2018 to which this procurement exercise relates below threshold concession services in accordance with Public Procurement, England and Wales Public Procurement, Northern Ireland — The Concession Contracts Regulation 2016 No 273 (‘the Regulations’).
