Tender description
The purpose of this VEAT Notice is to advise that the PSNI is preparing to award a Direct Award Contract for a support contract for a period of 2 years to cover the period necessary to implement a new Command and Control system, Migrate existing Data to the new CCS and securely decommission the existing CCS. The PCR 2015 permit derogations to award a contract to a single supplier where competition is absent for technical reasons Reg 32(2)(b)(ii) refers and. iii. the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights, but only where no reasonable alternative or substitute exists. This Contract will be awarded on the basis of regulation 32.2.b.ii. due to the exclusive rights to the software held by the supplier.
