The Association wishes to procure a Main Contractor to undertake a major refurbishment of the existing office building at ‘Kilpatrick House’, 38-54 High Street, Ballymena to create a social housing scheme with a proposed mix of accommodation as follows: — 18No 2 person 1 bedroom general needs apartments; — 14No 3 person 2 bedroom general needs apartments; — 4No 1 person 1 bedroom general needs apartments; and — 4No 3 person 2 bedroom wheelchair apartments. Total 40 apartments. This scheme has been programmed to commence on site within the 2017/18 financial year. Planning Approval has been granted for the change of use and refurbishment of the existing office building to 40 No. general needs social housing apartments. NIHE have confirmed their support for the above mix of accommodation.
