Tender description

Leicester City Council Housing Department invites Tenders for the provision of Kitchen and Bathroom Refurbishments and General Repairs. The proposed Contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for further period or periods of up-to 2 years. Any extension will be at the sole discretion of the Council. This contract will operate as a Framework Agreement. To undertake the planned refurbishment of kitchens/bathrooms and associated works within the council's housing stock, Braunstone and Saffron area, which include dwellings of various types consisting of: bungalows, houses, bedsits, flats, maisonettes, tower blocks and sheltered housing schemes, etc. To undertake the planned refurbishment of kitchens/bathrooms and associated works within the council's housing stock, New Parks and Beaumont Leys area, which include dwellings of various types consisting of: Bungalows, houses, bedsits, flats, maisonettes, tower blocks and sheltered housing schemes, etc. To undertake the planned refurbishment of kitchens/bathrooms and associated works within the council's housing stock, Central and Humberstone area, which include dwellings of various types consisting of: bungalows, houses, bedsits, flats, maisonettes, tower blocks and sheltered housing schemes, etc. To undertake reactive repairs and refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms, including associated works and/or reactive repairs within the council's housing stock. These works will be to both tenanted and void properties. It should be noted that the work will be required city wide and will entail working at different parts of the city within the same time-scales.
