Tender description

MMU requires the provision of a student records management system (SRMS). Unit4 Business Software Limited (Unit4) has been selected by MMU to provide the SRMS following a procurement process under the Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) G-Cloud 8 framework agreement (G8 Framework). The implementation stage of the SRMS project is expected to last for at least 2 years, following which, it is expected that the whole SRMS will have reached go live. To ensure adequate coverage, MMU will award 2 contracts to Unit4 for the SRMS. The first will be awarded under the G8 Framework with a 2 year service term (Contract 1). The second will be awarded under the CCS's G-Cloud 9 framework agreement (G9 Framework) with a 4 year operational service term, which will commence when performance under Contract 1 is complete (Contract 2). The procurement for Contract 1 and Contract 2 concern the provision of a software as a service offering for MMU's SRMS project. MMU carried out a procurement process to procure the SRMS project in accordance with the G8 Framework under which Unit4 was the successful supplier, following shortlisting and application of the evaluation criteria to identify the most economically advantageous tender. During the process, all shortlisted G8 Framework suppliers were aware of MMU's intention to enter into arrangements extending beyond the initial implementation stage with the successful supplier to ensure the continued provision of the services and ensure adequate coverage in the implementation and go live stages of the SRMS project.
