Tender description

The Framework will provide continuity of a crucial district-wide service for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Acquired Brain Injuries that supports delivery of the district's health and social care priorities. Service users will be supported to continue to live within their communities and maximise their independence. In identifying Organisations to appoint to the Framework Agreement, the Council reserves the following rights: — Reject any bidders tender submission in its entirety where their overall evaluation score does not achieve at least 60 % of the available marks; — To appoint all bidders whose tender submissions are not eliminated at any previous stage. The Council will re-open the Framework at the 2 year point so that new providers may join. The same application process and evaluation criteria as detailed in this Invitation to Tender will apply. Existing Providers appointed to the Framework will not be required to re-apply; their position on the Framework Agreement will remain in force. Important note: This procurement process is still subject to approval by Wakefield Council Cabinet.
