Tender description

Prevention Assessment Teams Provision of Vulnerable Adult Community Support Worker Service (Pilot) The contract is for the provision of Vulnerable Adult and Community Support Worker Service (Pilot) to the Prevention and Assessment Teams. In response to the decision to change the eligibility criteria for access to social care support the Council has developed services to both promote and maintain the independence, health and well-being of adults in West Sussex. As part of this response Prevention and Assessment Teams (PATs) have been established. There are currently three PATs operating across West Sussex and the Council is now looking to enhance the function of the PATs to include a dedicated service element to meet the needs of vulnerable adults with effect from 1st April 2013. The total funding available is £135,000 for the 18 month duration of the pilot. A bidder briefing event will be held on 14 February 2013 at 9:30 to 11:30 in the Conference Room 1, Centenary House, Durrington Lane, Worthing, West Sussex, BN13 2QB. The purpose of this event is to allow officers of WSCC (and advisers/ partners) to describe our requirements and most importantly for you to ask any questions. All bidders will be invited to attend the same meeting. Clarification questions can be asked up to 5pm on 22 February 2013. The deadline for tender submissions to be made is 3pm on 1 March 2013.
