Enabling, Building & Engineering Works related to the Endoscope AER Replacement. These are specific engineering and building works that are intrinsically linked to the replacement of the AER's. This work can only be carried out by the supplier of the equipment, this is due to the vital time critical coordination with the replacement of the AER's and the close proximity of Part 2 enabling works to the AER replacement themselves. The risk presented if the Trust were to engage their own contractor for Part 2 of the works would be the potential contractual liabilities between the equipment supplier (Cantel) and Trust if the project were to be either delayed and or quality of work issues arose through the Trust's own contractor not meeting their obligations.
