Tender description

The University of Nottingham is proposing to invest in a new HR and Finance System. The project to deliver the HR and Finance system developments will be run as one programme to ensure synchronisation of processes and hierarchies. We are proposing to work with an Implementation Partner on this programme. We are therefore interested in hearing from Implementation Partners, as well as system vendors. To this end we will be holding a Supplier Day on 24th and 25th July at our Nottingham campus. The University has campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia. The HR and Finance system solution(s) that we are seeking will be for our UK campuses and must be fit for purpose to support our 7 500 employees with flexibility to respond to increases in numbers including through casual staff. We recognise that there are multiple solutions available to us in delivering our vision, one of the solutions the University may consider is a system which has integrated HR and Finance functionality, the second option being a focused best of breed solution for each of the independent functions (HR/Payroll and Finance). Suppliers are invited to engage on the day recognising either of the aforementioned solutions may be appropriate to meet the University's business need. It is intended that the system(s) will be configured for use to take advantage of out of the box processes ensuring that the delivered functionality benefits from regular incremental updates and remains robust and agile into the future.
