Replace asbestos barn roof at Parsonage Down NNR

Replacement of Lambing Barn roof and minor repair to Young Livestock Shed at Parsonage Down NNR • Remove and safely dispose of all existing roof materials. Approximately 300 square metres of corrugated fibre cement roof sheets and 300 square metres of corrugated asbestos roof sheets and associated guttering. • Provision of all machinery & equipment necessary to undertake the work safely. • Dispose of the asbestos sheeting in a manner which complies with HSE guidance on the Disposal of Asbestos Waste, Control of Asbestos & Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations. Including but not limited to the correct wrapping, labelling, transportation and disposal at a licensed disposal site. • Maintain a safe working environment during the entire operation. • Ensure the work site is left clean and free from asbestos contamination. Lambing Barn • Supply and installation of all new roofing material to the Lambing Barn (excluding the workshop roof). Approximately 600 square metres of natural grey fibre cement P6R roof sheets (to include 10 x P6R roof lights) and all necessary fittings. Approximately 50m of bargeboards. Approximately 70m of 150mm PVC gutters on new treated timber fascia boards. • Replace timber cladding at the front of the single pitch section. • Replace small triangular gable end section at the front of the pitched roof section with plastic coated tin sheeting Young Livestock Barn • Undertake minor repair at the front by replacing 2 asbestos roof sheets with fibre grey cement sheets • Replace broken facia boards and repair existing guttering
