Refuse recycling services

Tender description

The Council is seeking tenders for the provision of a service to treat and recover/recycle wood waste that has been collected from householders in Aberdeenshire through the Council's network of Household Waste and Recycling Centres. The wood waste, which amounts to approximately 5 000 tonnes annually, will be delivered directly by the Council to the Service Providers premises. The estimated annual tonnage is for guidance only and is not guaranteed. The contract which may flow from this ITT shall be for a duration of 3 years with a further option of up to 12 months extension. Lot 1 is for the wood waste collected at the following HWRCs: Alford; Ellon; Fraserburgh; Huntly; Inverurie; Macduff; Peterhead; Turriff; Westhill.
