Tender description

Medway Council Economic Development provides business support services to individuals and small & medium sized businesses located within the Medway Council administrative area (Postcodes ME1 – ME8 not including ME6). These services seek to:- • Add value to existing business support services provided by national initiatives and Kent & Medway Growth Hub. • To provide tailored interventions to meet specific local needs. • Encourage Medway individuals, in particular those from economically inactive groups, to consider starting their own business. • Support new businesses with Partners for Growth Business Start Up Grants. • To provide ongoing support to successful Partners for Growth Start up Grant recipients during first year of trading. • To assist growth businesses applying to Medway Council for financial support through the Partners for Growth Loan Scheme. • To monitor and provide ongoing support to successful Partners for Growth loan recipients.
