Provision of Assay Cartridge Prototype and Moulded Units

Tender description

This contract (approximately 5 months) will involve working with a research team at University of the West of England to progress the development of a disposable cartridge which forms part of a home diagnostic system. The contract will involve improvements to the design of a prototype microfluidic cartridge to ensure reliability and repeatability of measurement. The cartridge will enable simultaneous measurement of 3 biomarkers and include various processing stages e.g. volumising, mixing and measurement. Following testing of the design in conjunction with the UWE team, 50 moulded cartridges are to be delivered ready for trials with patient samples.
