Tender description

The Council is seeking to put in place services which assist in fulfilling the Council's obligations under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 as its duty as the Waste Disposal Authority (section 52). The Council requires the disposal/treatment capacity at a properly Consented, Licensed and Permitted facility/ facilities for hardcore and soil waste. The facility/facilities will offer direct delivery of hardcore and soil by: (a) BCC Household Recycling Centre (HRC) contractor (from HRCs in Buckinghamshire); and (b) District Councils (flytipped waste). The Council requires the disposal/treatment capacity at a properly Consented, Licensed and Permitted facility/ facilities for hardcore and soil waste. The facility/facilities will offer direct delivery of hardcore and soil in from the north of the county by: (a) BCC Household Recycling Centre (HRC) contractor (from HRCs in Buckinghamshire which include Aston Clinton, Aylesbury and Buckingham) and; (b) District Councils (fly-tipped waste) and District Councils mixed residual waste. Hardcore tonnages approx. 3 965 p.a. Soil tonnages approx. 518 p.a. Mixed residual tonnages approx.122 p.a. The Council requires the disposal/treatment capacity at a properly Consented, Licensed and Permitted facility/ facilities for hardcore and soil waste. The facility/facilities will offer direct delivery of hardcore and soil in from the south of the county by: (a) BCC Household Recycling Centre (HRC) contractor (from HRCs in South Buckinghamshire which include Amersham, Beaconsfield, Bledlow Ridge, Burnham, Chesham, High Wycombe and Langley); and (b) District Councils (flytipped waste) and District Councils mixed residual waste in the south of the county. Hardcore tonnages approx. 8 797 p.a. Soil tonnages approx. 1 993 p.a. Mixed residual tonnages approx. 660 p.a.
