London Borough of Sutton Art Commission - Soft Market Testing

The London Borough of Sutton are seeking to commission a suitably experienced Street Artist/Muralist or Consortium of artists and community engagement facilitators to develop and deliver a new artwork in two of our locations. Design Ambition Working with the local community, the Council would like to commission one or two artists who will create and deliver with the support of a project manager engaging pieces of work that will activate the flank walls and draw attention to a particular area. The artwork is intended to become a catalyst for future public realm improvements in the town centre. The theme of the artwork should draw on the history, people and/or activity within that place and should be developed with the active engagement of local communities. London Borough of Sutton are conducting this soft market testing excercise to gain the market indication of the practicality, feasibility and deliverability of the Project.
