Tender description

Research groups within Newcastle University's Faculty of Medical Sciences require a label-free surface plasmon resonance bio-sensor for many kinds of projects ranging from drug discovery (small molecule fragments binding to target) through analysis of complex biological systems (protein/DNA complexes) to membrane-associated interactions (protein, carbohydrate). This contract is for the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the system. The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a label-free Surface Plasmon Resonance Biosensor at the University as detailed in Section 3 Technical Specification of the Invitation to Tender, together with a total of 7 years Maintenance and Service and all training necessary for safe and reliable operation of the system and a complete set of Operating and Maintenance documents.
