Tender description

A 3 year NHS Standard contract for a Primary Care Dermatology Service will be provided at agreed CQC registered premises, which are convenient and accessible for patients, at geographic locations across North Derbyshire which will be subject to annual review. The aim of this service is to promote high quality care for patients with specific skin conditions in a local Primary Care setting. This Primary Care Dermatology service will include the triage of referrals received to manage both inappropriate referrals and appropriate referrals to Secondary Care. North Derbyshire CCG has 35 member GP practices, serving a population of approximately 300 000 registered patients. Hardwick CCG has 15 member GP practices serving a population of approximately 102 000 registered patients. All GPs will be Accredited as GP with Special Interest in Dermatology. Patients must be able to book via the e-referral system The Primary Care Dermatology Service for NHS North Derbyshire and NHS Hardwick CCGs falls below the relevant threshold for Healthcare Services.
