Tender description

Accommodation based support and floating support services for young people aged 16 to 25 living in Swindon. The contract will be for an initial term of three and a half years to run from 1.10.2017 to 31.3.2021. There is an option for the Council to extend for 2 additional periods of 2 years each, subject to satisfactory contract performance, meeting KPIs and budget availability. The total maximum term is 7 and a half years. Swindon Borough Council is seeking to commission housing and support for around 150 young people and young families living in Swindon. This will consist of accommodation based support and floating support. The purpose of this service is to provide housing and support for young people who cannot maintain independent living. The overall aim of this service is to provide service users with skills and confidence to enable them to move on to and maintain independent living with little or no ongoing support. This lot is for up to 75 units of accommodation based support for single people offering 24/7 staff cover. Estimated contract spend for this lot is between 300 000 and 324 000 GBP per annum. This equates to between 1 050 000 and 1 134 000 GBP across the initial 3.5 year contract term or between 2 250 000 and 2 430 000 GBP across the potential 7.5 year contract term including options to extend. This lot is for up to 25 units of accommodation based for single people support offering weekday support Estimated contract spend for this lot is between 70 000 and 80 000 GBP per annum. This equates to between 245 000 and 280 000 GBP across the initial 3.5 year contract term or between 525 000 and 600 000 GBP across the potential 7.5 year contract term including options to extend. Swindon Borough Council is seeking to commission housing and support for around 150 young people and young families living in Swindon. This will consist of accommodation based support and floating support. The purpose of this service is to provide housing and support for young people who cannot maintain independent living. The overall aim of this service is to provide service users with skills and confidence to enable them to move on to and maintain independent living with little or no ongoing support. This lot is for up to 25 units of accommodation based support for young parents offering weekday support. Estimated contract spend for this lot is between 85 000 and 98 000 GBP per annum. This equates to between 297 500 and 343 000 GBP across the initial 3.5 year contract term or between 637 500 and 735 000 GBP across the potential 7.5 year contract term including options to extend. Swindon Borough Council is seeking to commission housing and support for around 150 young people and young families living in Swindon. This will consist of accommodation based support and floating support. The purpose of this service is to provide housing and support for young people who cannot maintain independent living. The overall aim of this service is to provide service users with skills and confidence to enable them to move on to and maintain independent living with little or no ongoing support. This lot is for floating support for up to 50 single people and young parents. The support may or may not offer evening and weekend support depending on what is needed or possible. Estimated contract spend for this lot is between 104 000 and 119 000 GBP per annum. This equates to between 364 000 and 416 500 GBP across the initial 3.5 year contract term or between 780 000 and 892 500 GBP across the potential 7.5 year contract term including options to extend.
