Tender description

NHS England is responsible for Primary Care GP Services. Ernesettle Primary Care operates from 3 sites. Ernesettle Primary Care Centre, Mount Gould Primary Care Centre and Trelawny Surgery. The buildings are located in the more deprived areas of the city being Ernesettle, Mount Gould and North Prospect. These sites cater for around 10 000 patients. NHS England South (South West) are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from providers who have the capability and capacity to undertake a contract for the provision of GP Services to patients in Plymouth across 3 surgeries (Ernesettle, Mount Gould and Trelawney) and wish to take part in a potential procurement exercise. The procurement is likely to commence in August 2017, and the new contract is due to begin in April 2018. The contract term is envisaged to be 5 years and further detail will be available as the procurement process proceeds. A market event will take place on 25.7.2017 to provide potential bidders with the opportunity to ask questions and hear more detail about the procurement process.
