Tender description

The intention of the London borough of Sutton is to set up a framework. The framework will have 2 lots. Lot 1 — Reducing need and developing independence and Lot 2 — Developing independence. The framework will operate to allow the local authority to identify placements for looked after children (over the age of 16 years) and care leavers with Semi-independent Accommodation providers. Lot 1 of the semi-independent accommodation framework is focused on reducing need and developing the independence of the young person. Within this lot, high needs placements would be required to support those young people with a specialist or high need. We anticipate that there will 12 operators accepted as providers for Lot 1 Please refer to the tender documentation for more information, including the selection criteria and evaluation methodology. Lot 2 of the semi-independent accommodation framework is focused on developing the independence of the young person. These young people will require medium and low need placements to support the transition to sustainable independent living. We anticipate that there will 12 operators accepted as providers for Lot 2.
