Kirklees council is seeking to procure Service Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Stray Dog Collection and Kennelling Services through a framework agreement. The council of the borough of Kirklees (the ‘“Council”’), are seeking to procure a Service Provider with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Stray Dog Collection and Kennelling Service (the ‘Service’). Like all councils Kirklees has a duty under the Environmental Protection Act to kennel stray dogs for a minimum of 7 days. Kirklees have also historically offered a service to collect strays. Each year we collect approximately 400 stray dogs from around the borough.
