Tender description

Who Speclialist Work With MOD Civil Servants, Military Personnel, Contractors. The Specialist will be required to work with the Authority and other internal/external agencies to ensure coherent delivery of the services. It is anticipated that the Specialist will agree with the Authority to spend varying degrees of time located at the Authority’s site for face-to-face meetings and to carry out work of a security sensitive nature. What Specialists Work On 1. Review the project schedule and work with all sites to ensure that it is achievable and support the site in making changes as required. 2. Ensure that ISS and ATLAS have a correct view of the sites and ensure site work orders are correctly completed. 3. Conduct post migration site reports. 4. Support the MODNET in Administering the project. 5. Attend and deliver team updates in meetings as needed for both internal and customer briefings. 6. Work additional hours as agreed with the Project Manager. Where the Work Takes Place Army Headquarters, Andover, Hampshire, SP11 8HJ The place of delivery of the contract shall be at such location as agreed between the Specialist and the Authority. Subject to the incumbent being contactable and providing the required outputs, remote working is a flexible element, an ad-hoc arrangement dependent upon work (e.g. Outputs, meetings, stand-ups) requirements at the time. Working from home or from another MOD site is permissible, to be arranged at the time. Early Market Engagement N/A Working Arrangements The Specialist shall use his/her own initiative as to the manner in which services are to be delivered; for the avoidance of doubt, the Specialist shall not be supervised, directed or controlled regarding how the services are delivered. The Specialist shall use his/her own equipment where security requirements permit. The Specialist is expected to provide the services on such hours/days as required to meet any deadlines, as agreed between the Specialist and the Authority. Incumbents should follow both the letter and spirit of Army Headquarters security regulations. Current SC preferred, however MODNET Program would consider interim BPSS sponsorship for the right individual, remaining the intermediary’s responsibility to put the candidate through SC vetting process. The following DEFFORMs will be used: DF111 Addresses And Other Information, DF10 Acceptance Of Offer Of Contract Skills & Experience MOD experience MOD and DII/O365 migration and delivery experience Project management Customer management Able to operate PM tools such as Project, Excel and Visio Experience of Data Centres and MOD Desktops and Laptop migrations Team management Ability to brief large and small customer and internal meetings Ability to adapt plans quickly and work under pressure Large migration experience Nice to Haves Budget Management O365 and SP 13 training experience No. of Specialists to Evaluate 4 Cultural Fit Criteria Work as a team within our organisation and other suppliers.
