CP 1411-17 Contract for the development of a WASTE ACCEPTANCE FACILITY & MANAGING RESIDUAL WASTE from NORTH DEVON & TORRIDGE areas

Summary of the Services The Contractor is required to finance, design, construct and maintain the Waste Acceptance Facility at Brynsworthy in North Devon to be operational from the Planned Service Commencement Date. The Authority has secured planning consent for the development of the Works. The Contractor shall need to apply to the planning authority for any amendments that he deems necessary in order to facilitate the development of Works to his requirements. The Service entails the acceptance of approximately 41000 tonnes per annum of District Councils Collected Waste as well as around 3000 tonnes of HWRC Residual Waste from within the Administrative Area at the Waste Acceptance Facility from 11th February 2019. The Service also entails the transportation of the abovementioned waste streams to the Contractor's Waste Processing Facility or disposal outlets for Recovery or disposal respectively in accordance with the requirements of the Contract.
