Countryside Contractors Framework Reopening (1)

Tender description

The contract is for the reopening of the Countryside Contractors Framework. The agreement is for the provision of a list of approved organisations to form the Countryside Contractors Framework to deliver a range of work commissions across the county of West Sussex on sites owned and managed by the Council. Work commissions will be split between Public Rights of Way and Countryside activities. Public Rights of Way (PROW) Commissions may include, but will not be limited to: •Footbridge and bridlebridge new and replacement activity •Footbridge and bridlebridge refurbishment •Footpath / bridleway surfacing The Council’s Public Rights of Way service operates a parish-by-parish cyclical maintenance programme; these works are delivered under a separate contract and are outside the scope of this Framework Agreement. This Framework Agreement seeks to deliver services county-wide on specific projects such as path surfacing and bridge management. Countryside Team Commissions may include, but will not be limited to: •Estate management •Habitat management This Framework Agreement will deliver projects across the county of West Sussex on sites owned and managed by the Council. Providers currently on the framework can use the reopening of the framework as an opportunity to bid for additional areas of work. Deadline for Clarification Questions 5pm 20 February 2013 Return of Tenders 3pm 27 February 2013 A bidders’ briefing will be held in February 2013 should there be sufficient interest. If you would be interested in such an event use the messaging system, on the eSourcing portal, to confirm your interest. Additional sessions maybe offered at the request of bidders, i.e. if assistance is required in the use of the e-sourcing portal or completion of the commercial/pricing elements of the ITT. This request should be made using the messaging system of the e-sourcing portal.
