Tender description

In 2012, the County Council’s Economic Development team worked with a wide range of private, public and third sector partners to develop a County-wide strategy that seeks to promote, encourage and support the sustainable growth of the West Sussex economy. West Sussex has a number of strategic sites, regeneration and infrastructure projects at various stages of development - many still in the feasibility, master-planning stages. It is clear that there is a shortage of deliverable or ‘shovel-ready’ schemes and for many of the projects, there is not yet a clear understanding of how and who will deliver and fund the project. Further, there is not a clear pipeline of deliverable development and infrastructure activity at a strategic level. This work will provide partners with a clear understanding of what is needed to ’deliver’ these projects and who is best placed to ‘deliver’ them.
