Tender description

The Authority has a possible future requirement to secure cargo and passenger whole-aircraft charter from the commercial market at times when the MODs air mobility force is unable to meet the requirement, which can generally be at short notice. The Authority is currently developing its procurement strategy for this requirement and is seeking the views of industry on how the requirement might best be met. To obtain these views a short questionnaire has been prepared, which will be available to all companies that are interested in this requirement. Please contact DESDSCOM-CCF-Commerical@mod.gov.uk who will provide a copy of the questionnaire. The closing date for expressing interest in this requirement is 31/07/2017 and questionnaire responses should be submitted not later than 7.8.2017. A Contract Notice will be published to commence the competition. It is anticipated that this competition will commence in 18/06/18 once the necessary approvals have been secured. Note that this requirement will be subject to DSPCR 2011.
