Tender description

The West Sussex Economic Strategy: Supporting Economic Growth in West Sussex 2012-2020 was launched in summer 2012. This is a strategy for all the partners working together in West Sussex to promote economic development. This commission is particularly concerned with the following two priorities:  Promote West Sussex as a First Class Business Location  Understand and respond to the needs of established businesses and support people to start and grow successful enterprises. In order to contribute to the delivery of these priorities, West Sussex County Council (WSCC) has taken forward a scoping exercise to investigate the current business support provision in West Sussex. This scoping exercise revealed gaps in provision and a lack of clarity surrounding access to information and support by businesses in the county. With the commission of the support provision through this specification, WSCC wishes to address the gaps and strengthen the provision of support to businesses in West Sussex.
