Sheffield City Council is looking to appoint a single provider for an engineering inspection service to meet its obligations for statutory inspection by a suitably qualified competent person. Items requiring inspection are located in a variety of locations, from offices and schools to social housing property. Please see the full item listing for further details. The successful provider will need to demonstrate a proven track record in delivering services to organisations with a similar complexity in a professional and timely basis. They will be supported by an effective and efficient reporting system to enable the electronic exchange and storage of inspection records. In addition we are looking for a provider with the willingness and aptitude to work with the Council to seek value for money efficiency savings in the delivery of this service.
