Tender description

This project is to supply, deliver and install X-ray equipment for left luggage baggage screening that is compliant with the new National Rail Security Programme (NRSP). Changes to the NRSP are being concluded currently and X-ray equipment needs to comply with the new standards. Quantities: 8 new machines and 7 Standard Test Pieces (STP) are required. 3. Locations: London Paddington. i. London Euston; ii. London King's Cross; iii. London Liverpool Street; iv. London Waterloo; v. London Charing Cross; vi. London Victoria x2. 4. Moves The current machines at these locations will need to be moved to the following locations. a. London Paddington to Birmingham New Street. b. London Euston to Glasgow. c. London King's Cross to Edinburgh Waverley- subject to survey on fit. d. London Victoria to the PX6.4 machine to Leeds. e. London Waterloo to Liverpool Lime Street. f. 1 machine from Victoria (old 208 machine), the old line scan machines at Liverpool Street, Charing Cross, Birmingham New Street, Liverpool Lime Street, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh will need to be disposed of in a safe and compliant manner as described under Environmental Standards.
