Tender description
The BMX track in Alvaston Park, Derby is a national standard BMX track but has no floodlighting to extend its usage during dark evenings and winter months. The Council has secured a grant from Sport England to supply and install floodlighting to the perimeter of the track and to power the floodlighting from a new electricity supply to the BMX building. The work comprises the supply and installation of floodlighting to the track to include raise and lower columns with metal halide lanterns and to install, and commission the electricity supply around the perimeter of the track to power the floodlights including all connections to the new supply within the building under the start area.
