North Lincolnshire Council is inviting responses to a preliminary market consultation exercise to explore commercial options for the long term future management of Normanby Hall Golf Course (NHGC). The Council is interested in finding out whether other organisations may be interested in operating Normanby Hall Golf Course in North Lincolnshire. The Council is committed to commission to secure improved outcomes for individuals and communities. It aims to focus on the delivery of core functions. To achieve this aim the Council is exploring opportunities to outsource services where there is a strong and competitive market that can potentially deliver at a lower cost than in-house. The deadline for the submission of responses is 12 noon 11.7.2017. North Lincolnshire Council is inviting responses to a preliminary market consultation exercise to explore commercial options for the long term future management of Normanby Hall Golf Course (NHGC). The Council is interested in finding out whether other organisations may be interested in operating Normanby Hall Golf Course in North Lincolnshire. Adjoining Normanby Hall Country Park, the 18 holes of Normanby Hall Golf Course are set in 117 acres of established wood and parkland. The course first opened to the public in 1978. It has matured well in to a highly regarded and testing par 72 golf course. Practice facilities are provided adjacent to the course. A licensed clubhouse is open to members and non-members and provides a range of drinks, snacks and meals. The course is available for ‘pay and play’ visits and golfing societies. At the time of producing this specification there are 330 members. The Council is committed to commission to secure improved outcomes for individuals and communities. It aims to focus on the delivery of core functions. To achieve this aim the Council is exploring opportunities to outsource services where there is a strong and competitive market that can potentially deliver at a lower cost than in-house. The deadline for the submission of responses is 12 noon 11.7.2017.
