Tender description

Lot 4 is for the provision of corporate eye care Services. The Service shall enable Contracting Authorities to to fulfil their legislative requirements and maintain a duty of care as a responsible employer through the provision of eye examinations and adequate spectacles or eye-wear for safety purposes. The Supplier shall provide the core requirements which shall include a wide range of sight tests, DSE eye-wear and safety products: — DSE eyesight tests; — Lenses; — Prescription spectacles; — Safety lenses; — Prescription safety spectacles and eye shields; — Prescription polarised spectacles; — Prescription sunglasses; — Prescription reaction spectacles; — Occupational lenses; — Prescription lens inserts; — Medical fitness eyesight tests; and — Colour vision tests. Provision of: — After sales service and warranties; — To a network of opticians in each UK geographic region; — Mobile services on request; — Online portal and telephone support services. The core requirements of Lot 4 include a wide range of sight tests, DSE eye-wear and safety products ,which include: DSE eyesight tests; Medical Fitness eyesight tests; Colour vision tests; Lenses; Prescription Spectacles; Prescription Safety Spectacles and Eye Shields; Prescription Polarised Spectacles; Prescription Sunglasses; Prescription Reaction Spectacles; Occupational Lenses; and Prescription lens inserts. Provision of after sales service and warranties. Provision of access to a network of opticians in each UK geographic region. Provision of mobile services on request. Provision of an online portal and telephone support Services.
