Tender description

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking bids from interested suppliers to provide External Audit Services. We require a provider of services who can demonstrate an experience of dealing with the NHS and who can provide an innovative service which adds value. The expectation will be for the provision of advice on services for all aspects of audit assurance, objective examination of evidence for assessment of governance, risk management and internal controls. Also required will be advice on the financial audit and the auditing of the annual financial statements. This includes assessment of financial performance, security, anti-fraud, quality and compliance. The contract will be for the duration of 3 years plus 1 year, plus 1 year.
