Choice Housing Ireland wish to appoint a contractor to undertake the development of 7No apartments at 8-10 Main Street, Kells, Ballymena. This project involves the construction of a three storey apartment block including 7 general needs apartments and associated amenity facilities. The apartment mix includes: • 4No. 2 person 1 bedroom general needs apartments and • 3No. 1 person 1 bedroom general needs apartments. The site, situated at 8-10 Main Street Kells, is a flat, infill, brownfield site measuring approximately 0.10Acres. The new build apartments will be designed and built to meet Department for Communities Housing Association Guide standards to include Lifetime Homes and Secured by Design standards. The duration of the construction works are expected to be approximately 12 months, with the contractor expected to start on site before March 2018.
