With a growing portfolio of new housing developments with district/communal heating systems and heat metering and a vast existing communal heating portfolio potentially impacted by the Heat Network (Metering and Billing) Regulations 2014, metering and billing of heat is taking on an increasingly important role for Guinness and our customers. Guinness has a requirement for a metering and billing provider to manage the metering and billing for the supply of heat and hot water to Guinness customers. A contractor is required to provide planned, preventative and reactive repairs and maintenance services for our heat metering systems and HIU’s. We also have a requirement for a consultant to provide ad hoc specialist consultancy services during the life of the contract. Keywords: Communal Heating, Metering and Billing
