Tender description

The shredder would be primarily used for the processing of bulky waste to allow diversification away from landfill and processing by means of incineration at the local Energy from Waste Facility. The shredder would be primarily used for the processing of bulky waste to allow diversification away from landfill and processing by means of incineration at the local Energy from Waste Facility. It is anticipated that the shredding equipment will be utilised in addition to current operations on the Cromer Road site. This will include the possible processing of bulky green waste to reduce transport movements and further increasing recycling rates by recovering the ferrous metal fraction from the waste.
