Tender description

The City invites Tenders for the provision of a live-in caretaker with security qualifications. A live-in caretaker with security qualifications is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to protect a number of vacant residential properties in an isolated rural location in Essex. The principle property to be secured and for the live-in caretaker service to be based out of is a former residential care home comprising 16 bedrooms set in 5 acres and 2 other residential properties within 300m. The duration of the contract is 6 months, subject to the right of the Authority (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract weekly thereafter by up to 6 month. The maximum length of the contract is therefore 1 year.
