Nursing Care Beds

Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley (“the Council”) is inviting tenders for the provision of nursing care beds within the London Borough of Bromley or its immediate boundaries. The provision of care will be governed by the basic principles of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment. The Council seeks to promote and provide a high quality, responsive and cost effective service for people who require care within a nursing home. The successful Contractor(s) will be governed by the fundamental principle that every service user has a right to safety, stability and consistency of service, and is required to maintain this commitment for the lifetime of each service user or for so long as the Home can continue to meet their care needs. The Council is looking to procure a total of 70 beds, 60 beds on a block booked basis and 10 further beds on a first refusal basis with a number of suppliers. In addition, if assured of best value through this exercise, the Council may seek to purchase additional placements on behalf of the Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group up to a maximum of 140 beds.
