Who Speclialist Work With The programme is comprised of a mixed team of Civil Servants and client side consultants supplemented with SMEs both client and supply side. The programme team also comprises seconded operational and retired Police Officers. The programme also utilises one large supplier (Application Development Support Partner) for most of the build activity associated with LEDS and a collection of small SMEs focused on activities such as data migration, testing and data quality. What Specialists Work On One of NLEDP's key objectives is to determine the future need for new services to make national data easy to access by frontline officers to inform local policing decisions. As Relationship Manager, you will support the NLEDP leadership team in securing access to data sources necessary to fulfill the wider data sharing ambitions of the programme. You will engage with data owners to ensure that data sharing requirements and their implications are understood and that plans are put in place to address these in line with Ministerial appetite and direction. Where the Work Takes Place London – multiple sites including supplier sites if relevant Croydon Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Individuals working client side will be required to work onsite at HO buildings in London and / or Croydon 5 days per week. Agreement may be given for occasional remote / homeworking subject to IT and delivery constraints. Home Office IT will be provided though given there is currently a freeze on rollout of HO end user compute devices, an option for consultants to bring their own laptops, accredited for the CJSM network would be desirable, subject to agreement of a Security Aspects Letter outlining controls. Work Location London – multiple sites including supplier sites if relevant Croydon Security Clearance SC or ability to be cleared to SC level Additional T&Cs T&S will not be payable for travel to sites within the M25. Travel outside of the M25 will be subject to HO T&S policy Skills & Experience Strong understanding of the government's digital and technology transformation agenda, and why the government is changing the way it does digital and technology projects Strong ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, leading the collaborative planning process, prioritising work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team. Strong ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with people from all levels of seniority Good awareness of cultural, strategic and tactical business issues, and how to align digital and technology strategies with business goals when engaging with staff, stakeholders and customers Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people Experience of working on technology projects / programmes with a significant policy emphasis Ability to assess technical specifications against policy and legislative provisions to identify impacts Nice to Haves Understanding the Law Enforcement landscape No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Demonstrate commitment to excellence and improvement (for example, through seeking actionable feedback, setting targets etc.) Transparent and collaborative when making decisions and recommendations Have a no-blame culture and encourage people to learn from their mistakes Demonstrate courage (for example, express controversial views, make tough decisions, question actions inconsistent with group behaviours, candid about progress/estimates) Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 20% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers Budget range
