Summary of the work Help us achieve our mobility strategy to deliver an enterprise level portable desktop solution, simplify the infrastructure estate, transform the IPO workforce capabilities though new communication tools and adopt a new commercial model for end user computing. Skills & Experience • Experience of Windows 10/Exchange Online/Skype for Business migrations. • Proven delivery experience across a range of projects including those with a digital/IT focus and commercial management components. • Clear evidence of strong leadership, people and stakeholder management skills. • You will be experienced using both waterfall and agile project methodologies Nice to Haves Be familiar with the GDS project lifecycle. Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 10% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers 1. Can you answer as to whether this is inside or outside IR35? As we will be contracting for outcomes this will not be considered as Contingent Labour and will therefore be outside of IR35. 2. The system is prompting for a day rate yet it states that IPO are contracting for outcomes. Can you please define the full scope of work so that an appropriate day rate and assignment length can be calculated? Whilst we do have a view of the full scope of work to be performed we are not, as per CCS guidance, sharing this with suppliers at this stage. One of the initial pieces of work to be done with the successful supplier is to undertake a brief scoping or discovery phase and finalise scope of the project. Once this is complete it will determine the size, duration, frequency and scope of the SoW's to be undertaken and associated outcomes to be delivered. At this stage of the procurement process we encourage suppliers to provide their most competitive day rate 3. What is the Maximum rate for this role? The maximum day rate will be £500 4. What is the anticipated daily budget for this role? No anticipated daily budget however the maximum day rate will be £500. 5. Will this position have direct reports and if so how many? There are no direct reports for this role, however they will be working within a team of technical leads. 6. Do applicants need current SC Clearance or will you sponsor. If sponsoring will you use an expedited method? We will perform our own SC process which will be completed using the standard channel 7. As this assignment is not for an T&M interim consultant, rather a to deliver defined outcomes, can you please outline if stage payments based upon successful milestones being met is the planned approach? One of the initial pieces of work to be done with the successful supplier will be to undertake a brief scoping or discovery phase and finalise the scope of the project. Once this is complete it will determine the size, duration, frequency and scope of the SoW's to be undertaken and the associated outcomes to be delivered. From here estimated resource days needed per SoW will be agreed with the successful supplier. 8. Is there a budget for this piece of work? There is a budget for this piece of work and will be finalised with the successful supplier as part of the brief scoping.
