Tender description

Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) is a key preventative services, enabling older people and disabled people including children with disabilities to remain living independently. The Provider is responsible for delivering and maintaining equipment that supports Hackney resident's activities of daily living. The Provider will work closely with Hackney Health and Children's and Adult Social Care to promote safety and independence for residents. The London Borough of Hackney (the Council) is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified providers for the Provision of an Integrated Community Equipment Service in accordance with the service specification. One contract will be awarded to the successful bidder and it is anticipated that the Contract will be fully operational by 1.2.2018 and will continue for a period of 3 years from that date with an option to extend for up to 2 years (1 year plus 1 year) unless terminated in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
