Tender description

This contract will involve the modification of existing Helicopter Integrated Defensive Aids System (HIDAS) items and will enable delivery of an integrated Defensive Aids System (DAS) which is a critical sub-system on an Apache. The Apache Project Team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to place a contract with Leonardo MW Ltd to deliver aspects of the Apache Capability Sustainment Programme. This contract with Leonardo MW Ltd will enable delivery of an integrated Defensive Aids System (DAS), which is a critical sub-system on an Apache. The contract scope is for design, qualification and provision of items to Boeing (Original Equipment Manufacturer for the Apache) for integration as part of the Foreign Military Sales agreement with the United States Government. The contract will involve modification of existing Helicopter Integrated Defensive Aids System (HIDAS) items.
