Tender description

NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a non-exclusive Framework Agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock Route and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the Direct and E-Direct Routes. This Framework Agreement is for the supply via the e-direct route of Blood Gas Analysis, HbA1c testing, Urinalysis, Drugs of Abuse, Cholesterol, Coagulation, Cardiac Markers, Multi Test Instruments, Diagnostic Rapid Test Kits, Single test analysers and Blood Glucose. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will circa 14 100 500 GBP Directive 85/384/EEC in the 24 months of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. This Framework Agreement is for 24 months with the option to extend in incremental stages for up to a total period of 48 months This Lot aims to offer Point of Care Testing for Blood Gas Analysis, this includes but is not limited to a range of blood gas analysers, devices and any relevant equipment, consumables, reagents and software packages which will enable blood gas analysis to be performed on blood samples. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 5 200 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender whose total score meets or exceeds the threshold of 25% to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed to both Lines within this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aims to offer Point of Care testing for Coagulation, this includes but is not limited to, analysers, devices, any relevant accessories (such as barcode scanners), test panels, reagents, internal quality control material and software packages for measuring the effect of anti-coagulation by analysing a patient’s whole blood or plasma. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 1 750 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender whose total score meets or exceeds the threshold of 25% to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed for a number of the Lines across this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aims to offer Point of Care testing for Urinalysis, this includes but is not limited to, analysers, devices and any relevant accessories (such as barcode scanners and platforms), test strips, reagents and software packages that will enable the determination of changes in urine based on a patients urine sample. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 850 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender whose total score meets or exceeds the threshold of 25% to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed for a number of the Lines across this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aim to offer Point of Care Testing for non analyser/non reader visually read only Urinalysis test strips, this includes but not limited to strips, reagents, colour charts that will enable the determination of changes in urine based on a patient’s urine samples. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 600 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing the top scoring 5 Applicants who have met the minimum requirements which are set out in the Invitation to Tender to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed for one or a number of the Lines across this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aims to offer Point of Care Multi Test Analysers/Instruments including but not limited to analysers, devices and any relevant equipment, consumables, reagents and software packages (and any other associated testing to e performed on whole blood, serium, plasma or urine and other samples for a range of testing areas). This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 400 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender whose total score meets or exceeds the threshold of 25% to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed for one or a number of the Lines across this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aims to offer Point of Care testing for Cardiac Markers, this includes but is not limited to, analysers, devices and any relevant accessories (such as barcode scanners), test panels, reagents and software packages that will enable the diagnosis of acute coronary symptoms by analysing a patients blood or plasma. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 350 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender whose total score meets or exceeds the threshold of 25% to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed for a number of the Lines across this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aims to offer Point of Care Testing for HbA1c Testing, this includes is not limited to, analysers, devices and any relevant accessories, consumables and reagents that will enable the measurement of haemoglobin fraction HbA1c on blood samples, and any other associated testing to be performed on blood and other samples for diabetes management. This is an estimate only as precise quantities of likely purchases are unknown. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 750 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who have met the minimum requirements set out in the Invitation to Tender whose total score meets or exceeds the threshold of 25% to each Line within the Lot. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 900 000 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures below for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing the top scoring 5 Applicants who have met the minimum requirements which are set out in the Invitation to Tender to each Line within the Lot. Applicants should note that they may, therefore, be appointed for one or a number of the Lines across this Lot and should refer to the Invitation to Tender for further information in respect of this. This Lot aims to offer Point of Care Rapid Test Kits which are suitable for the use by trained health Care professionals at the Point of Care in front of patients. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases for this Lot will be circa 900 000 GBP however this is approximate only.
